Working Principle
- Volumetric Screw Action: An internal screw (auger) rotates inside a conical hopper. Each rotation of the screw pushes a specific, measured volume of material forward.
- Agitator Blade: A separate agitator blade often spins in the opposite direction of the auger screw to prevent powder bridging, rat-holing, or clumping inside the funnel.
- Control Systems: Operations can be managed mechanically, via electronic/PLC controls, or with high-precision servo motors.
